NOTE:  Dian had eye surgery one day prior to this FD.  Documentation of feedback email was not accomplished until after day 4 of the FD as a result. 
Most notes to Feedback were related to the social/political climate at USMA, and graduate refusals to donate to USMA or the WPAOG for those reasons. 

All emails expressing political/social concerns at USMA have been answered in the following manner:

Please be aware that we are not the WPAOG, and WP-ORG operates to provide email lists/websites, and other forms of online support to graduates, but we do not have *any* influence over West Point whatsoever.  Our fund drive supports graduates through a myriad of services, these being but a few:

We have a tax-exempt status that requires we do not, as an organization, become involved in any political activity or express opinions in that vein.  We do provide listservs that are populated with graduates, where any grad who is a member may express their opinions freely, and point to anything they wish within the boundaries of the particular list rules.  One such list is the WP-FORUM:

If you are not a member, just click the subscribe button on the left side of the page for either list. It is an active list, with  1287 messages in past 180 days, so I am betting your concerns are already being discussed broadly among your fellow graduates.

You are also welcome to include your thoughts on your WP-ORG class list.

As you can see, we DO supply assistance to graduates with concerns such as yours, by providing outlets for graduates to communicate with each other using our services to do so.  Our bi-annual fund drives enable us to provide those services.  Without funding, those services will cease to exist, and I doubt the 'powers that be' will provide graduates a place to speak frankly with each other with respect to your concerns, or share ideas for solutions. We do that.

That said, donations are completely voluntary, and we appreciate your concerns.

Did you know we host the macarthursociety listserv, which addresses the concerns you express?   In the meantime, we will continue to serve you and your fellow graduates regardless of any donation to our fund drive.
