Sir,
You are always welcome to continue using our class email services, regardless of donation.
I do hope you are aware that we are independent of USMA, and we do have a rather robust way of assisting with reunions. I wonder if you are aware we do. I have CC'd Megan Klein on this email, as she builds the sites that assist classes with reunions, and she can best explain our work in that area. We've had a great deal of success assisting with reunions.
As I stated, we are not affiliated with USMA or the WPAOG, except that we serve the greater USMA community through email lists and websites (which include our reunion efforts).

Sir,
WP-ORG is completely independent of the AOG and any fund raising they're having. We typically have our fund drive in April, but with the pandemic and so many people being furloughed, we thought it best to hold off until we absolutely had to request donations to simply stay alive. WP-ORG operates solely on donations. We explained that in the other three fund drive messages we sent out for this fund drive, but with the glut of requests you've received, I can understand how they were lost in the pile.
As a response to your question about what the fund is for, I offer this page explaining who/what WP-ORG is:
https://www.west-point.org/who-we-are/
In brief, we host two email lists you're subscribed to:
jsan-nyc and wps-ny
We do apologize for being part of stacking donation requests on you.
Thank you for your note. I hope this finds you well.

Hi Fred! I hope this finds you well.
Yes, my oldest daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren had it. Rick (son-in-law) was the most ill, which is interesting, as he has zero health risks... a guy who runs 20 miles/week and is fit as a fiddle. He, some 1 1/2 months later, is still very fatigued. My daughter and grandchildren had lesser cases, but also complain of a reasonable amount of fatigue. My granddaughter is a dancer (ballet), so the fatigue this illness causes has been rough on her. But, they're all getting better, so that's the upside!
My joint replacement was a success (knee), and nowhere near the battle the shoulder replacement was. VBG... I'm almost bionic!
With affection,
Dian

I can't tell you how I appreciated your note. It's hard to write people for money, especially now, with the world so shaken. I do mean every word I say in my messages. I love the West Point community. I've been blessed these past 22 years- YIKES I fibbed in my note yesterday - it has been 22 years since my introduction to WP-ORG, not 20. My daughter had 9 months prior service, and she retires next year! She just filed her retirement papers. Where does the time go?
I do hope this finds you well. Please do stay that way.
