A RECEPTION FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING WEST POINT WILL BE HELD ON DECEMBER 29, 2001

The annual West Point Parents Club Reception for High School and college students who are interested in attending the United States Military Academy will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel Sabal Park (formerly Radisson), beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2001.  All cadets home for Christmas leave and their parents are urged to attend this important event.  Remember how important it was to you to be able to hear first hand form a cadet or a parent about the West Point experience.  Please bring picture albums and memorabilia or other display items of interest.  Most importantly, bring your cadet and be prepared to talk to potential applicants and their parents about your West Point experiences.  If you know of any young people who are interested in the Academy, please let them know about this reception.  The guest speaker will be an Academy graduate.  West Point liaison officers will be present to answer questions concerning the admissions process.  An invitation and map are enclosed for your convenience.  If anyone needs further information or directions, please have them contact Bob and Krista Manley at 813-948-6160, or Dick and Martha Hull at 727-526-3090.
