A BIG ARMY - NAVY GAME PARTY AT RAYMOND JAMES STADIUM ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 1, 2001
An Army - Navy Game party sponsored by the West Point Society has been planned for December 1, 2001. The party will be held at Raymond James Stadium in the Club Level Lounge, east side of the stadium. Raymond James Stadium is the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is located at the corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Tampa Bay Boulevard in Tampa. There will be a 25 foot large TV (wall), and lots of 36" TVs on which to watch the game. The price of admission is $22 per person and includes a buffet luncheon, cash bar, and parking in Lot C. The doors open at 11 AM, and the game begins at 11:48 AM. Checks should be made payable to WPS-FWC, and sent to Karen House, 2803 Morrison Ave., Tampa FL 33629, not later than November 23, 2001. All reservations are final - no refunds. This is a great party with good and plentiful food that many in the club have attended for the past two years. Show up with your Black/Gold/Gray colors and cheer Army on to victory!
WPPC OF CENTRAL FLORIDA INVITES GULF COAST MEMBERS TO ALL ACADEMIES BALL ON SEPTEMBER 29 The Central Florida chapter of the West Point Parents Club has invited our members to attend their seventh annual All Academies Military Ball. The Ball will be held on December 29, 2001, at the Rosen Centre Hotel at 9840 International Drive in Orlando, which is adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center. Cost for the event is $35 per person, including cadets. Dress is formal for civilians and Full Dress for cadets. Cocktails will be served from 6 to 7:30 PM; dinner is from 7:30 to 9 PM; and dancing is from 9 to midnight. The Rosen Hotel will offer overnight accommodations at $105 for the night of the event, if reservations are made by November 29. After that time, the rate will be $185. Attendees must complete and mail the form, along with payment to Nancy Golsteyn of the Central Florida Club not later than December 3.
