THIRTEEN MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF 2007 WELCOMED AT THE JUNE PICNIC
The annual June Picnic to honor those who have accepted appointments to the United States Military Academy was held on June 7, 2003, in the Fellowship Hall of First Christian Church, in Tampa. The soon to be Cadets and their families were able to meet and talk to the upper class cadets that were present. The parents were able to visit with those who have been plebe parents in the past few years and find out what to expect from the Plebe year. The incoming Plebe parents were presented with the Plebe Parent Survival Manuals – a real lifesaver for those who read them and a source of information about upcoming events and other recurring plebe parenting questions. NEXT MOM AND POP LUNCHEON TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 1, 2003
The next Mom and Pop Luncheon will be held at the Crowne Plaza Sabal Park at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2003. Please RSVP to your Class calling captains by October 26 with the number of family members attending. If you forget to RSVP, you may still attend. There is a map on our website with complete directions.
CLUB PICNIC SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 6
The annual Fall Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2003, in the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church at 350 Hyde Park Avenue, in Tampa (at the foot of the bridge onto Davis Islands). A map showing the location of the church is on our website. The picnic will begin at 11:30 a.m. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish to feed eight people. The club will furnish chicken, coffee, tea, and eating utensils. Anyone who desires drinks other than coffee or iced tea may bring their own.
