Joel & Kim Schlachtenhaufen are enjoying parenthood courtesy of Benjamin, who arrived two weeks early but perfectly healthy. Joel is at Deloitte & Touche in Minneapolis.
Rocco Armonda, M.D., finished his neurosurgery residency at Walter Reed and is now doing a two-year fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University (Cerebravascular Surgery and Interventional Neuroradiology). He runs into Andy Eisman, an ophthalmologist doing a fellowship in oculoplastics (cosmetic repair of eye abnormalities). Rocco's wife Heidi is a triathlete/marathon runner who keeps the whole family on a ruthless training regimen.
Jack & Maryellen Picciuto are leaving Ft. Leavenworth. Jack is headed to Korea and Maryellen is taking the kids to Orlando.
Mark Lee is still at WOOPS teaching systems engineering. He is headed to TRAC-Lee at Ft. Lee, VA.
Terry Finley owns a thoroughbred racehorse management firm which operates in the Northeast, Florida, and Kentucky. His wife Debbie helps him run the business and keeps a tight rein on Erin (9) and Ryan (6).
Joe Depinto works for Thorton Oil in Louisville, and Jim DiOrio is entering the FBI Academy.
Kevin Belmont was the best man at the wedding of Steve Cardin last October in San Diego. Kevin has a class homepage on the net. Send him info and photos at kbelmont@ix.netcom.com. He is particularly interested in photos of our fallen classmates and the ring case at West Point.
Bill Basnett Jr. was an armor officer at Ft. Bliss in the 3d ACR. He is now a regional manager with Bradley-Morris, Inc. in Atlanta. He helps place junior officers in Fortune 500 companies. He's been married to Wendy Jo for 11 years and has five children - Warner, Mitch, Keith, Wynn and Brad. Bill coaches most of the kids' teams. If you like water sports, visit Bill's family abode and hit the lake. They want to see you soon.
Tim Knight earned his degree at Oxford and spent a year in Korea with the 2ID. After serving in Desert Storm, he left the Arm in 1992. He spent time with Procter & Gamble and Rubbermaid and has found a home at Sherwin-Williams. He is now the senior vice president, Performance Products, for one of their operating divisions. He lives in Akron, OH, with his wife Pam.
