The Bob F. Serio, Jr. Scholarship Fund
The Mount St. Michael Academy Class of 1960 has established a scholarship fund in the name of our classmate Bob Serio who was killed in action in South Vietnam, April 17, 1968. The fund is designed to financially assist worthy students who wish to attend the Mount.

4. Fred Gray conducted West Point Alumni Club. On Sunday, 25 April a large contingent of classmates attended a concert, "A Salute to Veterans," presented by the West Point Cadet Glee Club, the West Point Alumni Glee Club and the Hayfield High School Choral Group in Alexandria, Virginia. The Alumni Glee Club was conducted by our own classmate Fred Gray. The performances were inspiring and included songs that had better be there or else (The Corps, on Brave Old Army Team, etc.) a medley of WWI, and a medley of WWII songs. Noticeably absent was the medley of Vietnam songs (These boots are made for walking, I gotta get out of this place, etc.)
The combined group included performers from classes that spanned some 70 years and they inspired the entire audience (except for some single Navy punk who was almost attacked when he yelled out "Beat Army." He was silenced when someone reminded him of last week's A/N Lacrosse Game!)
Kudos to Fred, the cadets, the grads and the high school students.
