  • John Ward’s New Year Resolution – Great Idea

As many know, I moved a little over a year ago and have been struggling
with the vicissitudes of trying to move in to a new (old) house since
then.   I've now accepted that I'll never be completely moved in, so I
might as well get on with stuff.

I am going to put together the next directory starting now, with
publication expected in the mid-to late summer.   This year I'd like to
have photos as the theme.   If you have pictures from our cadet days –
up through Ranger School – please try to scan them and send me an email
    – if you can't, send a hard copy and I'll scan and return.  Not looking
for formal pics or portraits from Howitzer – I'll pull those.  What is
needed are candid shots, humorous if possible.  Anyone have one of the
    mess hall Rally?

If anyone has the final definitive caption for the frontispiece on the
last directory, naming all the spiffy cadets-to-be, please send it – I
think I may have saved a lot of the correspondence, but would prefer
    corroboration.

Jack Price – please forward this to the class mailing list so those not
on forum get it.  I'll do a mailing to the others shortly.

Oh, the resolution – to participate more in the class and Wp-org forums
    (or is it fora?)

  • Welcome to the Class of 1964 Web Site

We are tapping into a very useful web production system called Joomla to build a new web site for the class.  I know,  Joomla sounds like the title of an old African tribal name, but that is not what it is.  As you will see,the new site will allow our classmates to read about,  upcoming events, and see images and videos and read reports on recently completed events (the rule of what's going on in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas does not apply), reports on special activites such as bridge contests, skiing, hiking, golf and anything that would be of interest to the group
