#2: The
best way to minimize snoring is to follow the following protocol which I
developed for myself. Sleep on 2 pillows rather than one. This is key. By doing this you are elevating your wind passages. Trust me-this helps a lot. Before you are ready to go to sleep, do the following: use a sea soft nasal mist, 2-3 drops in each nostril. You can get this from the military pharmacy. It's a saline spray(0.65%). If your nose is stopped up, use neo-synephrine(regular strength)-2 or 3 drops. Next clean your nose off with a wet wash rag. Put on a Breathe Right nasal strip(usually sm/med size works). Lastly, spray your throat with Breathe Right throat spray(3-5 sprays in back of throat). In summary: 2 pillows,nose-drops,nasal strip,throat spray. It works. Give yourself a month. Do it at nighttime even if you are on travel. Let me know how it works out. You can get Breathe Right at CVS or the PX, grocery stores,... Joke: Patient: Doctor, as soon as I fall asleep I start snoring! Doctor: Is your snoring loud? Patient: Yes,very. Doctor: And does it bother your wife? Patient: I'm not married. Doctor: Then what's the problem? Patient: I have lost 5 jobs because of it. Note: On the serious side, snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea which is a serious medical condition and needs to be checked out by a doctor. |

#1: The
best breakfast is oatmeal with a cut up banana. Put on 2 heaping teaspoons
of wheat germ. Use 2% milk.
If you want
juice, drink 1/2 glass of orange juice with
spring water added. That's it. You will maintain weight and even lose lbs
via this menu. I buy Fresh Wheat Germ Toasted by Niblack's
(in a jar). Refrig after opening.
You
can add other berries with the banana, like
strawberries, raspberries,... Joke: What do you do if you miss your mother-in-law? Take one step back, reload and try again! |
