David Crawford Young

David Crawford Young was born on 2 February 1932 in Campti, Louisiana and appointed to West Point from the 8th Congressional District of Louisiana. He entered on 3 July 1951, was in Company F 1, played football his 3rd and 4th Class years, was a Corporal his 2nd Class year, a Lieutenant his 1st Class year. He graduated on 7 June 1955 and commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army in the Infanrty.
