William Frederick Sietman, Jr.
William Frederick Sietman, Jr. was born on 27 August 1929 in Michigan. He was appointed to West Point from the National Guard and entered on 3 July 1951. He was in Company C1 and was Company First Sergeant his first class year. He graduated on 7 Jun 1955 and was commissioned in the US Army in the Corps of Engineers.

William F. 'Bill' Sietman, Jr.
SIETMAN, WILLIAM F. 'BILL,' of Brooksville, died Thursday (Jan. 29, 2004) at Kindred Hospital, Tampa. Born in Cleveland, he came here 27 years ago from Germany. He graduated from West Point 7th in the class of 1955, was a Lieutenant Colonel, serving as an engineer in the Army Corps of Engineers and received the Purple Heart in Vietnam. He had 20 years of service with SWIFTMUD and served on the Lykes Hospital Board.
He enjoyed reading and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Carroll, Brooksville; two daughters, Carroll Willams, Atlanta, and Dorothy Garrison, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Elizabeth Williams, Bushnell; and five grandchildren. Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brooksville.

Carroll S. Sietman
SIETMAN, CARROLL S., age 71 of Brooksville, passed away Friday, June 18, 2004 at Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, KY. Born in Augusta, GA on September 17, 1932, she came here 27 years ago from Germany with her husband, Lt. Col. William F. 'Bill' Sietman, who had been stationed there while serving as Lt. Col. in the Army Corp. of Engineers.
Carroll attended the University of Georgia and was employed for many years at Roger's Christmas House, Brooksville. She had also served as Past President of, D.A.R- Daughters of the American Revolution and Past Secretary of,UDC- United Daughters of the Confederacy. Carroll was recently predeceased by her loving husband, and is survived by her two daughters: Dorothy Garrison of Louisville, KY and Carroll Williams of Cumming, GA; two sisters: Marion Anderson of Beaufort, SC and Dorothy Smith of Spartanburg, SC and five grandchildren: Alexis, Allison, Remy, Connor, and Matthew.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25th, at St. John's Episcopal Church with The Reverend Donald W. Jaikes officiating. Inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, 200 S. Brooksville Ave., Brooksville, FL 34601.
