Col. Ronald Eldredge Rule
Col. Ronald Eldredge Rule (Ret.), 83, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. Services will be private.
Col. Rule was a native of Terre Haute, Ind. and had made his home in Eatonton. He was a retired colonel with the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Princeton University and the United State Military Academy at West Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Ruth Eldredge, and a brother, Tom Rule. He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth G. Rule of Eatonton; two sons, Tim Rule of Eatonton and Martin Rule of Callaway, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
