Charles Homer Martin, Jr.

Charles Homer Martin, Jr. was born on 26 August 1932 in Michigan. He was appointed to West Point from the 6th Congressional District of Pennsylvania and entered on 3 July 1951. He was in Company A1 and was a Cadet Lieutenant and platoon leader his first class year. He graduated on 7 Jun 1955 and was commissioned in the US Air Force.

Eleanor 'Ellie' (Jones) Snyder Martin

Eleanor 'Ellie' Jones married Charles Homer Martin, Jr. in DEC 1955 while he was attending pilot training in Malden Missouri. They had two children, Charles III and Melanie Jayne.

She remarried; his name was Snyder. In maybe '09 or '10, she divorced him and moved from Ft Lauderdale to The Villages. She dropped his name but said it was too much trouble to change her email (snyd + elean). Snydelean@aol.com was good in the Fall of 2015, and altho I asked for any changes, she did not reply.

I think AOG may know about the divorce but not her name change.

I called and talked to her companion of 14 years, Charlie Coleman. He said she died on Dec 7, 2016. He was not aware of Martin, but said she had been married to Snyder from '45 before she became the Coleman companion.
