Walter Franklin LeCates Jr.

Walter Franklin LeCates Jr. was born on 5 August 1932 in Laurel, Delaware and received a Congressional appointment to West Point. He was in Company F 1. He played baseball his 4th 3rd 2nd class years and was team captain his 1st class year. He graduated on 7 June 1955 and was comissioned a 2nd Lietenent in the Air Force.

Frank has severe Alzheimer's Disease and is in a continuing care facility here in North Florida.

It is my sad duty to report that Frank Lecates passed away at the VA Hospital/Assisted Living in Lake City, Fl on 5 Nov. He is survived by his wife, Gloria.
