Clifford Joseph Fralen
Clifford Joseph Fralen was born on 15 October 1932 in Brooklyn, New York and appointed to West Point from the 9th Congressional District of New York. He entered West Point on 3 July 1951. He was in Company I-2 and participated in lacrosse his 4th and 3rd Class Years and wrestling his 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st Class years. He was a Corporal his 2nd Class year and a Lieutenant his First Class year. He graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in the US Army in the Field Artillery.

LTC Clifford J. Fralen, US Army, Ret.
(October 15th, 1932 - July 10th, 2015)
CHELMSFORD, MA - LTC Clifford J. Fralen, US Army, Ret., age 82, and a longtime resident of Chelmsford, MA died Friday, July 10, 2015 following a brief illness. He and his beloved wife Jean (Holzheimer) Fralen, were married for 60 years.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 15, 1932, and was the son of the late Clifford B. and Mable (Nelson) Fralen. He graduated with the class of 1955 from United States Military Academy at West Point. He also earned master's degrees' from Johns Hopkins University and Northeastern University.
LTC Fralen served his country in the United States Army for 20 years and is a veteran of the Vietnam War before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Following his retirement from the military LTC Fralen was employed by Northeastern University as the Director of the Physical Plant for 17 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Beverly Szader of Marlboro, NJ; his four children, CAPT Michael Fralen, US Navy, Ret. and his wife Denise of Lothian, MD, MAJ Timothy Fralen, US Army, Ret. and his wife Debra of Purcellville, VA, Susan Duffy and her husband William of Ashby, MA, and LTC David Fralen, US Army, Ret. of Stafford, VA; ten grandchildren, Matthew Fralen and his fiance Ashley Cyr, Danielle Dade and her husband Jimmy, Michaela Fralen and her fiance Jordan Watkins, Ian Fralen, Colette Fralen, James Duffy, William Duffy and his fiance Erin Shea, Katrina Fralen, Jonathan Fralen, and Christopher Fralen; a great grandson, Jack Duffy; and several nieces and nephews.
It being his wish, there will be no visitation. The date and time of his Funeral Service and interment at West Point will be announced at a later date.
