Alan Miller Edwards
Alan Miller Edwards was born on 8 October 1933 in Denver, Colorado. He was appointed to West Point from the 1st Congressional District of Colorado. He was in Company F2; graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in the US Air Force.

Alan Miller Edwards
Alan M. Edwards, 58, a retired Air Force officer who flew 264 missions as the pilot of an F-100 fighter-bomber in the Vietnam War and later became a member of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board, died after a stroke Feb. 11 at a hospital in Honolulu.
A resident of Crownsville, Md., he was on vacation when he was stricken.
Dr. Edwards was born in Denver. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in the class of 1955 and was commissioned in the Air Force. He received a master's degree in aeronautics and astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a doctorate in the same subject at Stanford University.
