Robert Ingomar Doerr, Jr.

Robert Ingomar Doerr, Jr. was born on 21 October 1932 in Louisiana. He was appointed to West Point from the 7th Congressional District of Pennsylvania on 3 July 1951. He was in Company L2 and his first class year he was a Sergeant First Class on the Brigade Color Guard. He graduated on 7 June 1955 and was commissioned in the US Army in the Infantry.

Robert I. Doerr Jr., 75, husband of Barbara (Dillman) Doerr of 17 Pleasant St., Dayville, Conn., passed away Dec. 22, 2007 at the Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, Conn.

The funeral will be in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton, Friday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ken Geisewite officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Eastville.
