Mark your calendar for our 60th Reunion! Our Class reunion will take place at West Point on Sunday, May 17 through Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Our headquarters hotel is the Park Ridge Marriott in Park Ridge, New Jersey. In June 2014 you will receive a notification that you can make a room reservation at the Park Ridge Marriott. Efforts to establish round trip shuttle transportation from Newark Airport to the Park Ridge Marriott are underway.

This will be a great reunion. Based on the projected class strength and the historical rates of attendance at 60th reunions (41% of living graduates) we can expect about 100 classmates at this reunion. Add to that number widows, children, grandchildren, and friends and the total will exceed 200!

We are using the services of the West Point Association of Graduates to do the administrative work in setting up and coordinating our reunion schedule. They will also be handling the registration (but not the hotel reservations) and contacting vendors for buses and other activities. Registration will be done online through the WPAOG. The registration web page will be open in February 2015.

The following activities are currently planned: breakfasts at the hotel, lunches at West Point, Cadet Parade, Superintendent's briefing, Memorial Service at the Old Cadet Chapel near the cemetery, tour of new facilities, three cocktail parties (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday), Class meeting, possible Sup's boat trip, and possible bus to New York City. Your Class Reunion Committee and our AOG Reunion Support Staff need your help in planning events for the reunion. We have prepared a short on-line survey for you to complete. The survey, which can be found at http://www.westpointaog.org/1955prereunionsurvey (or by selecting the hyperlink, Pre-Reunion Survey, on the Class reunion information web page mentioned above), will be most helpful to us in planning for your reunion requirements. Please give us a few minutes of your time to answer a couple questions. Your answers are not binding. They will give us a great head start in planning for a great reunion. Please follow the instructions on the survey and make sure that after you hit the 'submit' button, that the survey was accepted. We would appreciate your response by August 22, 2013.

Your reunion committee continues to firm up reunion activities, and we'll be sending out updates as plans are made. I recommend you check the above webpage often, especially as we get closer to the reunion.
