Subject: pres-net: Fund Drive 9 needs our Parent Club support

PRES-NET Members:

After just 25 days, WP-ORG's Fund Drive 9 has achieved 45% of the $95,000
goal. A remarkable record, reflecting both the value of WP-ORG services,
and the goodwill and generosity of its members.

I'm writing to remind you--officers, board members, and other WPPC
workers--that WP-ORG needs the support of our parent clubs, too, during FD9.

In addition to providing services of significant value to us as individual
parents, WP-ORG serves us collectively by providing information and
communications resources to many of our local clubs: regional forums
(listservers) and websites. If your WPPC uses these resources and hasn't
already made a donation to FD9, I hope you'll consider a club donation at
your next meeting.

At WPPC-MASS, we donate to WP-ORG's semi-annual fundraisers because our
regional forum and website are valuable tools for the club. For us, they
permit direct savings in printing and mailing costs, and enable an
immediacy and scope of communication otherwise unavailable.

If your club receives similar benefits, please consider making a donation
to FD9 by check mailed to:
