In this message I'll give you a brief description of the array of services
provided by WP-ORG. Through the hard work of our volunteer programmers and
moderators, WP-ORG delivers:
* Free e-mail forums (listservers) that promote discussion of topics and
timely dissemination of information. Graduates use these to coordinate
reunion activities, organize get-togethers, or discuss current events.
Parents learn about happenings at USMA and USNA, get questions answered by
other parents, and create a virtual community. Societies and other
interest groups also use these forums to get information out to their
membership quickly and efficiently, saving each group time and money. The

* Free web hosting for grad Personal Home Pages (PHP), classes, societies,
parents clubs, and cadet activities/sports. Every graduate has been given
a home page on WP-ORG's system. Numerous parents clubs and West Point
Societies have also taken advantage of this offering to provide another
outlet of information to their members. To learn more about PHP's for

* Eulogy pages for each deceased graduate, including the ability to post
and read personal tributes. This is one of WP-ORG's most important
activities. WP-ORG has developed the infrastructure for recording the
actions, accomplishments, and impact of each and every graduate's life
through Memorial Articles and/or personal eulogies by family, friends, and
classmates. For example, Paul Haggerty '91, an assistant hockey coach at
USMA, passed away in 1998. Cadets, classmates, and family all left moving
tributes to Paul online. Follow this link and click on "Eulogy" in the

* Free permanent e-mail addresses for graduates. Every graduate can
activate his or her permanent e-mail address and use it as a central,
unchanging address even when switching ISP's:

transition out of the military, WP-ORG helps them network with other
graduates through the numerous listings at:
