Dear Contributor to WP-ORG,

On behalf of the Board of Advisors and the more than 100 forum moderators of WP-ORG, I sincerely thank you for your contribution to our eighth fundraising drive.

Your enthusiastic participation and generous support has fueled the rapid growth of WP-ORG over the past five years. Together, we've built an organization 20,000-members strong, growing by 5,000 members in just the past year; built communications and content infrastructures; and developed a spectrum of services to meet the information and communication needs of our member communities: West Point graduates, parents of West Point cadets, parents of Annapolis midshipmen, friends of West Point and Annapolis.

At every stage of WP-ORG's growth, our guiding objective has been to expand, extend, and improve services to our members, to provide the services our members request.

Looking forward to 2001, in addition to our regular activities, our goals include:

            - achieving IRS 501c(3) charitable organization status, to make your donations tax-deductable

            - finding a new home for our network servers and communications gear

            - establishing a permanent endowment fund for WP-ORG (administered by the Association of Graduates) to assure our long-term funding stability.

I'll report to you our progress toward these goals.
