Subject: WP-ORG: WP-ORG Services

"Oh, no", I can hear you groan, "not another WP-ORG fund drive message!"

Well, yes. And it's not that we're trying to be obnoxious about it. But voluntary donations are our lifeblood; without them, there would be no WP-ORG.

And the reason you're getting this message is, well, because you haven't donated. Or, you've donated but have more than one email address listed on WP-ORG.

You're on a WP-ORG listserv, an email reflector; maybe one built for your class (http://www.west-point.org/class/), one that serves your West Point society (http://www.west-point.org/society/), or maybe you're the proud parent of a current Cadet (http://www.west-point.org/parent/wpp-net/) or Midshipman (http://www.usna-parents.org).

The Graduate Forum (http://www.west-point.org/wp/wp-forum/) is entertaining threads regarding changes at West Point, the mission of the Association of Graduates, and more benign topics such as the First Annual Army Navy golf tournament (http://www.huntersoak.com); maybe you're an active discussion participant or merely an interested spectator.

You may enjoy discussing the nuances of various firearms (http://www.west-point.org/family/firearms/), or maybe you've availed yourself of our media library (http://www.west-point.org/real/) or purchased professional reading material from our Gradstore (http://gradstore.west-point.org/).

If you're a Graduate and you've tired of changing email addresses every time you change Internet Service Providers due to PCS, no doubt you've already signed up for a permanent WP-ORG email address (http://www.west-point.org/service/pop-users/) and now enjoy the freedom of true electronic communication, including the ability to access your email from any computer with Web access, anywhere (https://webmail.west-point.org/sm/src/login.php).

If you have your own Internet domain with us (http://www.west-point.org/service/virtual/), you've enjoyed unprecedented freedom of access and reliability.

And maybe you've taken a moment to remember those who now grip hands from the shadows (http://www.west-point.org/taps/).

This is a sprinkling of the services offered by WP-ORG, The West Point Connection (http://www.west-point.org). They're part of the reason we must ask for voluntary donations on occasion (you'll find the breakdown of our projected needs for the next six months here: https://www-secure.west-point.org/budget_fd13).

We realize that not everyone is in a position to contribute at the same time so please don't think of this message as "pressure" to donate; rather, please view it as a gentle reminder that we do have a fund drive in progress and that WP-ORG needs funds to continue offering its services. As a bonus, our programmers promise that if you can and once you do donate, you'll hear from us no more.

Well, at least not until the *next* fund drive...

As in previous drives, you may make a secure donation by using your credit card at:

https://www-secure.west-point.org/donate

<a href="https://www-secure.west-point.org/donate/">
Donate to FD13 by Credit Card</a>

Or you may donate by check made payable to WP-ORG and sent to:

PO Box 595
Floyd, VA 24091-0595

Please be sure to indicate your affiliation and year on your check.

Regardless of the method you use, WP-ORG, Inc., is recognized by the IRS as a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Organization. 100% of your donation is tax deductible. For those who may need it, our EIN number is 51-0387132.

Thank you! WP-ORG exists for you and because of you. Your donations make WP-ORG possible.
