To All Parent-Forum Members:

I have been moderating this list for nearly two years, and I have met people
from all over the country who have a similar bond. Their sons/daughters are
attending or have graduated from West Point, and they want to know as much
as they can about the military academy.

...if I were to tell you that WP-ORG's parent lists had to cease existing
next week, what would your reaction be? Yes, you would be able to survive,
as parents did before the creation of these lists, but I would bet you would
definitely miss all the information you are able to receive...just by
asking.

Parents helping parents, whether it is suggestions on how to deal with a
depressed cadet, or travel tips when visiting West Point, Army/Navy tickets,
or even rides for your cadets.

We started something new a few months ago after a major snow storm stranded
many cadets. Rally-Point is a huge success, and has helped bring cadets and
families across the country together...helping each other - that is what
this list is all about.

I can't say it any better than a previous post by one of our moderators --

"WP-ORG and its services exist through the support and generosity of you,
its members. The personal POP e-mail account, unlimited web page storage,
virtual domain web site hosting, electronic mailing list server, and other
services offered by WP-ORG are continuously enhanced and upgraded through
your donations."

I KNOW we can do better than 241 parents donating to this fund drive. I
also KNOW many of you, like myself, have been busy and just haven't had the
time to send in your donation yet. If just everyone would give just a little
bit...$5. $10. $50. Whatever you can afford, it all counts up, and it's SO
easy!! I will make my donation TODAY...won't you also!!
