Introduction
A significant effort is underway to document the living history of all West Point graduates. This effort is being spearheaded by West-Point.ORG with an application called the Ward Book. We have created a special interface to this application for the Women of West Point and this page is the entry point for that application.
We encourage all graduates to document their individual histories by participating in this incredible and important effort.
To begin this process of entering your history, please follow the directions below.
How do I update my entry? First, the data is password-protected so you'll need a login if you don't already have one. Contact
Dian Welle at feedback@west-point.org if you don't already have a West-Point.ORG login and
password. There are two parts:
Your Log-in ID is always wpXXXXX where XXXXX is your Cullum Number for grads and your USMA e-mail address for cadets. When you have this information, Click on the LOG IN button to the upper left of this screen, and then enter your Log-in ID and Password.
Log in by clicking the "Log In" button in the top of the left-hand column. Once you log in, you'll see menu items for adding, editing, and deleting your entry.
How do I add an image to my entry? Once you've logged in, click on the "Edit Info" button in the top menu and then click on the "Pictures"
link in the navigational tree that appears to the left. Each entry is limited to four (4) images and each must be less than 100kb.
Who else can update my entry? Only you, the Class Historians/Scribes, and the volunteer technical help at West-Point.ORG.
Who can view my information? There are 5 settings: Public, Grads/USMA/Cadets, Grads Only, My Class Only, and Private.
If you set your entry to Public, then anyone can read the information. Grads/USMA/Cadets allows any grad or cadet with an authenticated login to view your entry. Grads Only allows any grad with an authenticated login to view your
entry. My Class Only restricts it further to only grads from your class. Finally, Private doesn't let anyone view your entry. (You, the Class Historians/Scribes, and the volunteer technical help at West-Point ORG will be able to view your information.) We suggest you keep it "Private" until you are satisfied with your completed submission, and then set it to "Grads Only" (or "My Class Only").
