Cadet Gordon Fein, Company C3, member of the Class of 2012, of Morganton, N.C., died Friday while home on leave.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cadet Fein’s family, and all that knew him. He will be sorely missed.” said Brig. Gen. Michael Linnington, Commandant, U.S. Military Academy.

A memorial service starts at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church of Morganton. There will be a private burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.
