Albert Song, class of 2011, was in Los Angeles, California, to celebrate his friend’s wedding, when one of his his friends became involved in a physical altercation. LT Song apparently tried to stop the fight but in the process, he was beaten and sustained a head injury. He was taken to a nearby emergency room but it was determined he had suffered brain death. He was kept on life support until his organs could be donated. The Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department have confirmed they are investigating Song's death as a homicide.
He is survived by his mother and sister.
