| The Department of Defense announced the
death of 1st Lt. Benjamin T. Britt, 24, of Wheeler, Texas, who
was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He died in Baghdad, Iraq,
on Dec. 22, when an improvised explosive device detonated near
his position during a dismounted patrol. He was assigned to the
1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team,
101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky. |
