Rick passed away in an apparent hiking accident near Garmisch,Germany

Funeral arrangements will be at the Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity at West
Point, followed by burial in the Post Cemetery. The date will only be
determined once Rick's body has been returned to the US. It could be
awhile before the German authorities release him to his family.

From Rick's Father:
"When people ask what they can do to help or if we need anything, the only
answer I give is for their prayers for Rick, his sister Christy ('05),
Shirley, me and Rick's fiancee, Kerry. ...and to make sure they give their
kids an extra hug or phone call "I love you" tonight. You never know when
it may be the last one."
