Big Dan! I've been out since 2000 and have learned some things the hard way. First, you're better off landing a position on your own rather than through a headhunter. Negotiate everything you can. Be careful of Target, they like JMOs to fill their lower ranks, but you have to fit their cliquish culture to move up...and if you continue in the National Guard or Reserves like I did, they will hold it against you. Trust and seek out grads, like you're doing on this board. Take some time to make the right decision. Goin to B-school first is not a bad idea. Use the SABRD and get your resume out there. Study interviewing techniques and dressing for interviews. Research the companies you are going to interview with and ask informed questions.
Good luck Big Dan. You're going to do great. You bring a lot to corporate America with your background, don't settle for anything less than you're worth.

Jim
