While watching a Pentagon briefing today they were scrolling names of casualties in the background and one of the names which stood out was CPT James F. Adamouski of Springfield, VA.

I checked the MSNBC website and found the following entry:

April 2:

Army Capt. James F. Adamouski, 29, of Springfield, Va. Killed when UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in central Iraq. Assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.

His name was just added to the CNN website.

For me this brings it all so much closer to home. My condolences go out to his family and close friends.
