Friends and Classmates, last September (ironically Sept 10) I decided to reenter Active Service. For me personally, Civilian life did not offer the level of fulfillment, comraderie, and excitement I found in the Army.

Granted, when I left active service, I was ready to go, and ready to experience life as a civilian.

Now, I have since replied to the limited Call to Active Duty for Captains. Six months after applying, my packet passed all requirements, but my acceptance was denied (for currently) unknown reasons (which I am investigating). My recall was not recommended apparently by either the MI Branch or with the Chief of Combat Support at PERSCOM

DO any classmates out there have any suggestions as to what my next step should/could be. I am currently talking ot my branch manager to find out COAs as well.

I have trouble believing that in our vast Army, with its still continued attrition of LTs and NBQ CPTS that there is no room for someone whose been out less than 2 years and has stayed current in service with the reserves. My record is strong and clean, so there should'nt be anything keeping me from finding a place (I would think).

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

DUCK
