Class of 1995

BAR ASSOCIATION

This page is intended for those of us in the Class of 95 who are currently lawyers, in law school, or plan to go to law school in the near future. Many West Point graduates attend law school, and many gain prominence as attorneys, judges, and politicians. However, despite the number of graduates who are active in the law, there never has been a formal recognition of this within the AOG, or otherwise. Unlike the Service Academy Business Directory and the well-established network of graduates in the business world, West Point attorneys have not utilized the "Long Gray Line" to its fullest.

As a start, we law students and future law students from the Class of 1995 have formed a "Class of 1995 Bar Association." There are no membership applications, no dues, and no meetings. This is strictly a way for those of us who plan to make a career in the law to stay in touch. As law students, we are mainly just informing the others where we are attending or plan to attend law school. In the next few years, I hope that our continued fraternity will aid in finding clerking positions, employment, etc. Perhaps in the future, as more established attorneys, we can refer clients to one another, recommend a friend for judgeship, etc.

If you are in law school (or have finished) or are planning to go to law school, and would like to join the group, please send me your name and e-mail and I will add you as a member. Let me know where you intend or are attending school, what your plans are, etc. I look forward to hearing from you.
