Major Ryan Neil Roberson, 36, died at his
residence in Leavenworth, Kan. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Born on August 10, 1969 in Bluffton to
Raymond and Judith Ann Luginbill Roberson, he attended Bluffton
and Norwell schools until 1984. He was a 1988 graduate of Eisenhour
High School in Texas and a 1994 graduate of the West Point Military
Academy. He entered the military academy on June 29, 1988. He
was an officer with the U.S. Army Military Police, serving at
Fort Leavenworth.
Survivors include his parents, living in Houston, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. Matt (Elsie) Haney and Mrs. Todd (LeAnn) Henderson;
two brothers, Chris Roberson and Tim Roberson of Houston; a grandmother,
Ruth Luginbill of Bluffton; and grandparents Phil and Bertha
Roberson.
