On hole #9 I played pine tree pinball. My drive once again looked great until it smacked a tree. I didn't turn it soon enough to hit the snake like fairway on this hole.











I had a very narrow gap to try to hyzer my upshot through. I put too much angle on it and hit another tree.











Now I needed a very flat approach to keep from hitting another tree and really blowing up on this hole. I threw a nice shot with my supersoft that was just a foot too low to go in the basket from about 60 feet.










A short putt finished this hole and I lost another stroke to par. +2 for the front nine isn't great for me but it's not a total disaster either.
