On hole #4 I went right too early and thwacked a pine tree. If you don't get full flight on your drive you are looking at a very difficult up and down on this hole.










My upshot looked pretty good until it hit some thick leaves and died left. (Really, it was a good shot until it hit that tree, really.)











On my third shot I was faced with no open route to the basket. Perched on the edge of the gully, I threw a high angled hyzer which actually got through a narrow gap and just missed getting a piece of the basket. I doubt it could have gone in at that angle anyway.









At least I was left with an easy putt for a 4. It could have been worse. The bogie cost me one of my strokes under par and I went to -1.
