On hole #1 I usually try to hit a gap in the cedars with a low hyzer shot which will skip up close to the basket if it gets through. This time I got lucky because I threw lower and released earlier than I wanted to but still managed to hit a gap in the trees left of where I had intended.

It slid through and I ended up with a makeable putt of 20-25 feet.

Fortunately, I was able to slip this one into the right side of the basket for a deuce and a good start on my round.
