Show Weekend 3/11-3/12/2000
Shots from a schooling show at Singing Hill Farm in Thrall Texas
on Mar 11, 2000. Bandit and I competed at 2nd level test 4, and received
a 61%. We also did 3rd level test 3 (HC), and, altho we managed to completely
forget the test, the judge let us complete the test and scored it 59%.
It was a COLD and WINDY day (temps in the 40's and gusty 25-30 MPH Northerly
winds). After being 80's and hot all week beforehand, many of the horses
were a bit "fresh". Bandit was a complete gentleman!

hair in the video stills!)
Mar 12, 2000. My trainer had a schooling ride-a-test day. So Bandit
and I took advantage of the weather to ride 4th level test 1. Thanks to
Carolyn White for video! I think Bandit is turning into a big ole show
ham. He seemed to enjoy all the attention and the crowd watching. Altho
we made a few mistakes - we haven't practiced this test much - Bandit pretty
much nailed 3 of the 4 lead changes, and his extended and medium trot work
is really coming along. The picture of the extended trot is at a little
bit of a strange angle, but you can still see the engagement of the back
leg!
