Al finally lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) yesterday (20
Jul) morning at Fairfax Hospital. He and Maria greatly appreciated
the many messages you sent thru Sal Culosi, Russ Russell and myself - please
continue to do so during these difficult days. Al and Maria's address
in our class book is correct but their phone # has been changed to
(703) 644-5291.
Al will be buried at Arlington. Viewing will be at Demaine Funeral Chapel (Backlick & Edsal Rds, Springfield, VA, on Sunday, 1 Aug from 2 - 4 PM and from 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be at Nativity Church (Old Keene Mill Rd, Burke, VA) on 2 Aug at 1 PM followed by burial at Arlington at 3 PM. There will be a reception at the Ft Myer Officers Club following the burial. Please contact me for additional details.
Those of us who knew Al well know what a great person he was.
