I remember Bill as a model cadet - rather a contrast in size as 1st Regiment CO as compared with Dave Burroughs in the 2nd Regiment! I never saw him again after graduation but I can't believe he wasn't as much a model as a soldier that he was as a cadet. We're the poorer for his early departure to the eternal Long Gray Line.
