Pete was a friend and a company mate for four years in Company B-1.In each of those four years he played football - he ran track and above all he made friends. He was outstanding at all three and he remembered his friends throughout his Army career. He will in turn be remembered by all who knew him and they will miss him. Be at peace Pete and we will do our best to carry on. As I know you would say - "Hooah!" Jack Campbell September 16 - 2003 Off the football field he was easy going. A friendly jovial individual. On the field he gave it his all. He was part of a team that in their last two years were in contention for national championships. When he was on the sideline - you did not need to look at the number 90 you could tell by looking at the calves of his legs and you would know that it was Pete Walton. Pete was dependable - an inspiration - a classmate - a leader - a soldier and a fighter. Bob Camp September 17 - 2003 |
