Ed Vulgas was a fine person and soldier. He and I were both commissioned in the Infantry and went to Fort Benning at the same time. I remember him as a very personable and dedicated soldier. Ed served in Europe while I was in another part of the world - so I never had the pleasure of serving with him again. Ed transferred from the Infantry to the Military Intelligence Branch and had a very successful and complete career in the Army. Grip hands! Jim Ryan May 1 - 2004
