When I recall our West Point days and think of Jack Poirier - I see a picture of him with a most wonderful smile. It wasn't a smile just for himself. It was a smile that embraced all those he touched - and encouraged them to positive thinking and appreciation for their many blessings. He was a blessing for all of us.

Well done - Jack - be thou at peace.

Jack was so much a part of that mystic and unforgettable time that we all spent at West Point so many years ago. Jack personified the spirit and meaning of West Point when he was a cadet and certainly when he was an officer. We all sort of melded into one body of graduates and when we lose one we all lose so much. Though we didn't see him so much in later years - his company mates realize how much he contributed to all our lives.
