The loss of Ben Franklin is a sad thing to consider. He was always--from Plebe days to just yesterday--a considerate and encouraging listener - advisor and friend. He was a counselor whose advice was sought by many and valued by all. He kept himself current on a multitude of facts - never flaunting that talent - but using it ever to the advantage of his loved ones and friends - and especially his Classmates - who will miss him. Ben spent many hours fighting the bureaucrats until he won and got the correct Cullum Number in the 1955 official records ..... Well done Ben - rest in peace Willy Welter July 28 - 2000
