The loss of Ben Franklin is a sad thing to consider. He was always--from Plebe days to just yesterday--a considerate and encouraging listener - advisor and friend. He was a counselor whose advice was sought by many and valued by all. He kept himself current on a multitude of facts - never flaunting that talent - but using it ever to the advantage of his loved ones and friends - and especially his Classmates - who will miss him. Rest in peace - Ben; Well done.

Ben was a very caring person. A while back he led the fight to get his M2 Company-mate a correct Cullum Number. Ben spent many hours fighting the bureaucrats until he won and got the correct Cullum Number in the 1955 official records .....

Well done Ben - rest in peace
