Patsy Sue Copeland

Patsy Sue Copeland, 77, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Saturday June 12, 2010 at the Baylor Medical Center in Garland, Texas.

She was born on May 13, 1933 in Stamps, Arkansas to the late Harold Dee and Clarice (Rogers) Hamilton. She was an operator for South Western Bell Telephone for thirty one years and was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Virgil Copeland Jr.

Patsy is survived by her son, Larry Copeland and his wife Joan of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Whaley of Magnolia, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Miranda Copeland of Machias, Maine, Brianna Copeland of Dallas, Texas, Robert, Copeland and wife Katy of Bentonville, Arkansas; one great grandson, Tracyn Helms of Bentonville, Arkansas; two nephews, Randy Machen of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Steve Machen Magnolia, Arkansas; two aunts, Evelyn Rogers and Ruby Hamilton both of Stamps, Arkansas; one sister in law, Iris Wages of Magnolia, Arkansas; and numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral services will 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Jackson Street Church of Christ with David Lovejoy officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Jackson Street Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Ron Betts, Steve Machen, Randy Machen, Dale White, Roy Baskin and Lane Jean.
