Edwin "Buck" Beene, 69, of Hobbs, N.M. died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at his home. Mr. Beene was born Aug 6, 1932, in Stamps. Survivors include three daughters, one brother, and six sisters, and four grandchildren. Graveside services with military rites will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, north of Stamps. Burial will be under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
