David Wayne Kersey

(December 28, 1936 - February 3, 2018)


David Wayne Kersey, age 81, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, February 03, 2018. Mr. Kersey was born in Stamps, Arkansas, to Lucious Mack and Nellie Rebecca (Strange) Kersey, on December 28, 1936.

Mr.Kersey was a retired sign painter for Super Neon Advertising. He also served our county in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Nancy Fyffe Kersey: three brothers, Clynon, Donald, and Larry Kersey. He is survived by two sons, Bruce Kersey, and wife Glynda, of Shreveport, LA; Chris Kersey of Shreveport, LA; and their mother, Patricia; as well as several grand-children.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Sardis Cemetery in Stamps, AR, with Reverend Douglas Burnley officiating.
