Biography (2001)

I married David Minter May 13, 1950 (a year before I graduated). We have 5 boys ranging in age from 37 to 49. We also have 8 beautiful grandchildren (4 boys and 4 girls). We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary last year hosted by our children and grandchildren. David worked all our married life for the railroad and retired 8 years ago. He hasn't been too well since then. I didn't work (oustside the home) for the first 20 years we were married and then worked as a church secretary for 25 years, retiring 7 years ago. We stay at home most of the time and have lived in the same place for the last 39 years. Come by and see us if you are ever in Nash, TX.
