Biography (2001)

Joe Dan graduated from East Texas State Teachers College, where he was very active in the ROTC, and was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force. I visited Joe Dan and his wife Peggy while he was at ETSTC and later when he was a 1st Lieutenant stationed in central Pennsylvania. Joe and Peggy were the proud parents of a new son when I last saw them around 1960. Tom Sims
