Biography (2001)

After serving a few years in the U.S. Army, David Paul settled in Houston TX and became very successful as the proprietor of several beauty shops. I visited David Paul in Houston around 1970, and he was held in high regard by his clients, who called him "Mr. David". His brother, Dick, later told me that David Paul loved ice skating and after an early retirement, put together a touring ice show, and that David Paul died from the complications of a cut received while ice skating.
