After William's death in 1996 I closed the business that he and I owned and decided to retire. The fine children and grandchildren that the Lord God blessed us with provide an anchor in my life, and of course, The Lord, Himself. I enjoy reading. Have enough books to open a small bookstore. Think I must be somewhat of a collector. Also enjoy walking. Find walking to be very healing and taking a walk helps me burn calories after eating the Gold "N" Nugit ice cream bars that I like! Taking care of my home and the yard takes up a
lot of time. I've learned how to operate a John Deer Tractor Mower. As long as that contraption works I do just fine. Also working on my Family Tree, visit with the family and friends, go shopping and travel every now and then. I have learned (since dealing with cancer) to number my days, take one day at a time, and try to do my best. Our children are: Sacia Dell Minter Coleman (age 49), Yolanda Kalene Minter Butler (age 46), William A. Minter, Jr. (Bill) (age 43), and Mark Owen Minter (age 37). Grandchildren are Brannon Smith (21), Josh Minter (11), Jake Minter (4), Emily Minter (12), Kelly Minter (12), Lara Minter (9) and Erin Minter (4).
