Robert L. Jacobs died at his residence in Summerville, SC according to obituary in Post & Courier newspaper of Charleston, SC. His widow is Lyda Bell Jacobs. Two sons, Robert L. Jacobs Jr, of Utah, and George D. Jacobs of Summerville, SC. Two daughters, Mary McMillin of Georgia and Nancy Oltmann of Summerville, SC. Two sisters, Ruth Ruggiero of VA and Patricia Swindell of NC. There are five grandchildren.
